HHS Students Make Valentines for Their Younger Friends

Creativity and style were plentiful as students made valentines (28kb) Valentine themes were based on the student's personal interests (39kb) There was no shortage of ideas (31kb)
Seniors in Ms. Osborne's class had a blast making pop-up Valentine's for their penpals in Ms. Bowling's class at Harrison Elementary. Their classes have been sending penpal letters for two years learning about letter writing, poetry writing and each other. They have a ball decorating the envelopes and recieving the missives, sometimes sending pictures and candy. But the best this happens at the end of the year, when they meet each other at an ice cream social. Old-fashioned communication with a cherry on top!
